Libya’s oil terminal resumes operation

Libya’s oil export terminal at Marsa al-Harik became operational again Monday, following a shutdown caused by employees’ protest, sources at the Libyan Oil ministry told PANA Tuesday.

The terminal, which has the capacity to export 110,000 barrels per day, had been closed over the past week as workers demanded better working conditions and higher wages.

The latest wave of protests by Libyan oil workers has caused a further drop in the crude oil exports, which have reached their lowest level since 2011
