A delegation from the International Francophone Organization (OIF) is in the Togolese capital, Lomé, to observe preparations for local and parliamentary elections due to be held shortly, official sources told PANA on Tuesday.
The delegation chaired by Henriette Dagri-Diabaté of Cote d’Ivoire, is on an information and evaluation mission to assess conditions for the elections.
The OIF delegation will hold talks with the public authorities and government, political parties, civil society organizations and Togo’s development partners.
