Olive harvest estimated at 91,000 tons in Sidi Bouzid

The olive harvest in Sidi Bouzid is estimated at 91,000 tons this season, i.e. 18,000 tons of olive oil.

Olive groves of Sidi Bouzid extend over 500 thousand hectares, i.e. 50% of the agricultural lands and 87% of the perimeters dedicated to fruit trees in the region.

Sidi Bouzid has 105 oil mills with a crushing capacity of up to 2,913 tons per day. The region can store up to 10,345 tons of oil.
