Ezzeddine Mhedhebi, a former member of the Commission for the Investigation of Corruption and Property Confiscated after the Revolution, has confirmed that a ruling handed down on December 20 declared the private air transport company Syphax Airlines bankrupt.
In statements made on Friday December 22 to Shems FM Radio, E. Mhedhebi pointed out that this judgement raises a number of problems, as several cases are being brought against the company with the aim of recovering its debts to the State.
He revealed that Syphax Airlines’ debts to AGIL amount to TND 70 million, in addition to its debts to the Airports Office, TUNISAIR and other companies.
