Tunisia’s PM rejects gift iPhone

Tunisian premier-designate Mehdi Jomaa has seemingly taken the moral highground, rejecting a gift iPhone in order to demonstrate that officials should not accept presents; Reuters reported local media as saying Monday.

Weekly newspaper Assabah reported that Jomaa returned the gift to Tunisia Telecom – which is largely state-owned – and sent a letter thanking the company.

The telecom company gave no comment when contacted by Reuters.
