Tunisia: ‘’phosphate production dropped by more than half compared to 2010’’ (PM)

Tunisia’s phosphate production fell by more than half from 8 million tons in 2010 to 3.7 million tons in 2014, Prime Minister Habib Essid, on Thursday, said at the plenary session of the House of People’s Representatives dedicated to the vote of confidence.

Essid vowed, in this regard, to attach great importance to this area because of its vital role in the export.

He also promised to resolve problems and disputes that shook parts of the mining area.
