Tunisia: 200 000 visitors expected at Gabes International Fair

 The 26th edition of the Gabes International Fair is being held July 1-19, 2010 under the theme: “Digital Youth, Capable to Take up Challenges.”
Some 212 exhibitors, including several Libyan firms are taking part in this exhibition. They particularly represent the sectors of handicrafts, leather and footwear, household appliances, chemical and food industries, information technology, electronics and sports equipment.
On the sidelines of this year’s edition, cultural and leisure events are scheduled, including particularly conferences on “counterfeiting and national programmes to fight this phenomenon,” as well as large-scale projects in the governorate of Gabes.
The Gabes International Fair receives each year over 200,000 visitors from several regions of Tunisia and also from Libya and Algeria
