216 Capital invests in Franco-Tunisian retail startup Winshot, an innovative technology solution that helps brands, chains and franchisees in the retail sector to simplify the management of field teams and increase operational efficiency, with the aim of optimizing and homogenizing the customer experience at the point of sale. In this way, Winshot has reinvented the way retail companies in Europe, Africa and the Middle East work to meet the challenges of their distribution networks by focusing on 2 levers. Firstly, by strengthening the connection, involvement and commitment of internal teams working in the field and at the point of sale (merchandisers, network coordinators, store managers, customer advisors, supervisors, area managers, etc.). Performance indicators are then used to monitor the application of processes in real time and measure compliance with brand standards at each point of sale in the distribution network. The startup recently closed a 6-figure funding round led by 216 Capital. The funds will be invested in building world-class marketing and sales teams and establishing a strong retail presence in France and Tunisia. As a member of France’s Tech Marseille, Winshot aims to capitalize on the opportunities offered by the ecosystems on both sides of the Mediterranean.
