Thirty-four companies operating in the field of agriculture are taking part, under the aegis of the Tunisian Export Promotion Center, in the international food fair ”Anuga” held from October 5 to 9, 2013 in Cologne, Germany.
Tunisia’s offer is based on key products such as oil and dates, but also a variety of other exhibits such as pasta, canned food, vegetable fats, food preparations and a biological range.
According to CEPEX, the Tunisian participation, which occupies a pavilion of 450 m2, “is an excellent exercise for positioning in terms of competition and a good source of inspiration and learning to explore new paths of innovation and wealth creation.
“Locomotive of the European economy, the German market offers to our businesses real opportunities to be explored, but they must meet the requirements in terms of supply and adopt a considered and aggressive approach.”
The German food market has annual sales of 150 billion Euros, 35% of which are export oriented.
