Tunisia: AeTECH sees turnover fall 34% in H1

AeTECH saw its consolidated turnover fall by 34% at the end of the first six months of 2023, compared with the same period in 2022, to 2.7 million dinars.

Turnover from the “Solutions” business came to 468,000 dinars, down 66% compared with 2022. This drop is explained by the delay in invoicing current projects following the new delivery deadlines imposed by manufacturers and the delay in implementing new order forms.

ADVANCED-e-SERVICES generated sales of 2.2 million dinars, 17% less than in 2022.

AeTECH’s consolidated operating expenses (excluding depreciation, amortization and provisions) went down from 4 million dinars to 3 million dinars between June 2022 and last June, a reduction of 25%.

Other consolidated operating expenses increased by 9% compared with the same period in 2022, to 457,000 dinars.

Lastly, the EBITDA margin was negative in the first half, at -12% compared with a positive margin of 2% a year earlier.
