Tunisia plans to apply for hosting the 16th Congress of the International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) of Transparency International” (TI), a source at the Ministry Responsible for Governance and Fight against Corruption told TAP Friday.
Two other countries, Germany and Senegal, have already submitted their applications for organizing this conference whose 15th session will be held this year from November 7 to 10, 2012, in the Brazilian capital Brasilia on “Mobilizing People: Connecting Agents of Change.”
A Tunisian delegation led by Abderrahmane Ladgham, Minister Responsible for Governance and Fight against Corruption and composed of 20 representatives of civil society and associations active in the field of transparency and fight against corruption will travel to Brazil next week to take part in this event.
