The company Air Liquide Tunisia has announced a net profit of 13.3 million dinars in the first half of the year, against 10 million a year earlier, recording a growth of 32%.
For the whole year 2020, the company achieved a net profit of 13.4 million dinars.
This increase is attributed to the strong growth in revenues. Indeed, the company’s half-yearly revenue (gas and equipment sales) rose from 15.7 million dinars to 22 million between June 2020 and last June, a surge of 39%.
The company’s net income went up from 13.4 million dinars to 13.4 million dinars.
The cost of sales, meanwhile, grew 24% to 14.8 million dinars, compared with 12 million in the first half of last year.
As a result, the gross margin emerged up 86% to 7 million dinars, compared to 3.8 million at the end of June 2020.
In view of the decrease in distribution and administration costs, the operating income shows a growth of 274% from 1.6 million dinars to 6 million between the first half of 2020 and the current year.
