The Agency for the Promotion of Agricultural Investment (APIA) has approved 3,000 investments amounting to 414 MD, until the end of September 2016, down 4.5% in number and 24.9% in value, compared to the first nine months of 2015.
According to data presented Wednesday by APIA, at a press conference ahead of the exhibition “SIAT 2016”, the approved investment would create 3,770 permanent job positions, up 14.6% compared to the same period of the previous year.
APIA has approved 72 property loans for a budget of 5.8 MD, until September 2016, against 58 loans of about 4.4 MTD in 2015, up 24.1 in numbers and 31.7% in terms of value, the agency’s officials also said.
