Tunisia: ATB sees 8.44% increase in NBI at end September

The net banking income (NBI) of the Arab Tunisian Bank (ATB) saw an 8.44% increase at the end of September 2020 to 195.2 million dinars (MD), according to the Bank’s financial statements published on the site of the Tunis Stock Exchange.

Banking operating income in turn grew by 11.10% to 471.5 MD.

The bank recorded, during the same period, an improvement in its main activity indicators, notably a rise in credits net of provisions and reserved agios by 21.78%, to 5120.2 MD, an increase in customer deposits by 13.98%, to 5647.2 MD and a growth of operating expenses by 6.7%, to 138.2 MD.

ATB is a Tunisian commercial bank, founded on June 30, 1982, through the integration of the Tunis branch of Arab Bank Plc and the contribution of Tunisian individuals.

Today, it has a network of over 131 branches and employs more than 1300 people.
