The BH Insurance company managed to improve by 7.31% its half-yearly net result from 2.962 million dinars (MD) recorded at the end of June 2019 to 3.179 MD as of June 30, 2020, according to its interim financial statements as of June 30, 2020 published on the site of the Tunis Stock Exchange.
These indicators also show a significant improvement of the life result which goes from 3.532 MD recorded in 2019 to 4.286 MD at the end of June 2020, as well as an improvement of the non-life result which rose from 0.738 MD to 1.827 MD.
The company’s technical commitments evolved from 9.92% to 201.036 MD against 182.896 MD at the end of June 2019.
Its investments totaled a net amount of 194.613 MD at the end of the first half of 2020 against 177.796 MD in 2019, i.e. an increase of 9.46%.
Paid claims have increased by 10.86% from 24.641 MD to 27.266 MD. The financial products went up by 19.60% reaching 7.794 MD.
The company’s global activity recorded a 5.65% growth level, i.e. a turnover of 68.998 MD against 65.309 MD in 2019.
The branches “health group”, “fire”, “miscellaneous risks” and “automotive” are the main vectors of this growth against a decline of 6% for the life branch.
