The overall turnover of the company BH Insurance stood at 86.7 million dinars in the first half of the year, compared to 74.4 million as of June 30, 2021, representing a growth of 16%.
Non-life insurance posted a turnover of 51.2 million dinars, compared to 49.7 million in 2021, up 3%.
Life insurance shows a turnover of 35.5 million dinars, against 24.7 million in 2021, i.e. a growth rate of 44% compared to the same period of the previous year.
The premiums ceded saw a 9% rise linked mainly to the increase in turnover.
For its part, the cost of claims totaled 45.7 million dinars, compared to 43.4 million as of June 30, 2021, representing a 5% increase.
Investment income grew 19% compared to the same period of the year 2021.
