Tunisia: BIAT increases its quarterly GNP by 18% to 295 million dinars

BIAT has published its activity indicators for the first quarter of the current year. These indicators show a growth of 18% of the net banking product to 295.3 million dinars, from 249.7 million a year earlier.

This NBP is composed of the interest margin of 128.5 million dinars, the margin on commissions of 55.4 million dinars and other revenues of 111.5 million dinars.

The bank’s operating expenses rose from 103.8 million dinars in the first quarter of 2021 to 116 million dinars at the end of March, posting an increase of 12%.

In addition, the outstanding net loans stood at 11.7 billion dinars at the end of March, against 12.1 billion at the end of last December.

As for the outstanding deposits, they reached 15.9 billion dinars, against 16.2 billion at the end of December 2021.
