The Banque Nationale Agricole (BNA Bank) now holds 45,562,266 shares of AMI Assurances, representing 52.13% of the capital of that company, according to the statement communicated by stock market broker BNA Capitaux to the Tunis Stock Exchange on November 24.
The state-owned bank, which now holds directly 44.94% and indirectly 7.19% of the capital of AMI Assurances, says it does not plan to pursue the acquisition and disposal of AMI Assurances shares.
Furthermore, the bank says it is considering seeking new appointments to the company’s board.
