Tunisia: BNA slips and TPR declines

The Tunis Stock Exchange closed the week on a positive note (+0.47%), supported by the strong performance of heavyweight stocks SFBT and BIAT.

The benchmark Tunindex gained 77.61 points to reach 16,526.74 points, with trading volume of TND 11.5 million, including TND 1.2 million on BNA. Over the week, the Tunindex rose by 2.9%.

Stock analysis

The BNA stock fell by 0.49% to TND 16.200. In the first quarter of 2026, its net banking income increased by 10% to TND 278.5 million.

BIAT rose by 0.45% to TND 155.100, with net banking income up 3.5% in Q1 2026 to TND 398.5 million.

In the same sector, Amen Bank continued its upward trend, gaining 1.21% to TND 67. Its net banking income increased by 13.5% to TND 170.4 million as of March 31, 2026.

TPR dropped 1.37% to TND 13. Its consolidated revenue for Q1 2026 stood at TND 72.9 million, down 6% compared to the same period in 2025.

This underperformance comes in a particularly challenging international environment marked by geopolitical tensions in Gulf countries.

SFBT rose 2.42% to TND 14.800. The company recorded a 5.6% increase in revenues in Q1 2026 to TND 126.3 million.
