Minister of Economy and Finance, Hakim Ben Hammouda, said that given the difficult situation facing the country, the tax burden on businesses must not be increased.
Speaking to Express FM, he also stressed the need to maintain the income tax, taking into account the difficulties encountered by companies.
The minister also called on the Tunisian government to focus on the major balances to preserve its economic independence. He added that the budget deficit is now below 5%.
