Tunisia: business mission sets out to conquer Burkina Faso’s market

A Tunisian multi-sector prospecting mission made up of 35 businessmen visited Burkina Faso from October 24 to 27 to conquer its market.

The delegation represents the electrical, mechanical and metallurgical industries, the food processing industry, infrastructure, health, ICT, international trade, environment, consulting, training and the building materials sector.

This multi-sector prospecting mission in Ouagadougou is organized by the Tunisia-Africa Business Council, in partnership with Burkina Faso’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The delegation, led by Loukil Group CEO and President of Tunisia- Africa Business Council Bassem Loukil, met with Burkina Faso’s President as well as several ministers, including Minister of Commerce, Industry and Handicrafts Stephane W. Sanou, senior officials and local businessmen.

Burkina Faso’s National Economic and Social Development Plan that includes a five-year investment scheme of up to €23 billion and major investments scheduled for the 2016-2020 period were at the centre of these meetings.
