Finance Minister Lamia Zribi, said at a panel discussion held in Tunis on the new provisions of the draft Finance Act 2017 that negotiations are underway with the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT) to postpone wage increases for at least two years.
She further explained that this is inevitable to preserve the financial balances and replenish the coffers of the state: “We must share the burden among all,” she stressed.
