Tunisia’s cements exports reached 201,000 tons in the first eleven months of 2012, posting a decline of 22.4% compared to the same period year 2011 during which 259,000 tons of cement were exported.
The decrease concerned only exports, while domestic sales increased by 11.6% from 5.875 million tons to 6.559 million tons in the first eleven months of 2012.
The increase also affected production, which has increased from 6.13 million tons in 2011 to 6,787,000 tons in 2012, up 10.7%.
