The Export Promotion Center (CEPEX) organized B to B meetings entitled “TUNISIA FASHION DAYS” in Spain – Barcelona and Madrid, for the benefit of twenty Tunisian companies active in the textile and clothing sector.
TUNISIA FASHION DAYS is an opportunity for Spanish professionals to explore 5 product ranges dedicated to subcontracting, co-contracting and finished product for ready to wear, knitwear, underwear and swimwear, jeans and sportswear, besides accessories and services, represented by Tunisian companies selected for their competitiveness, high quality services, their technical skills and their confirmed creativity without neglecting their commitment to on-time delivery and security of supply.
To launch the event in Barcelona, a press conference was held in the presence of the Tunisian Ambassador in Madrid, the Deputy Director General of CEPEX, Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) Madrid office representative and fifteen Spanish journalists specialized in the textile and clothing sector.
It helped to expose the comparative advantages of the textile and clothing sector in Tunisia, strategic sector for the Tunisian economy and major lever of cooperation and partnership.
Some 60 Spanish companies travelled to Barcelona to meet with Tunisian companies, in Madrid, fifty are expected.
This event which was held on December 1, 2015 in Barcelona and on December 3, in Madrid is intended to be a major networking action to bring Tunisian textile and clothing operators closer to their Spanish counterparts.
