Tunisia: CEPEX to hold open day for companies seeking to expand into Africa

An open day for Tunisian exporting companies seeking to expand into Africa will be held on December 18 in Tunis, reads a statement from the Export Promotion Centre (French: CEPEX) issued on Tuesday.

The meeting will focus on Nigeria, Kenya, Cameroon, DR of Congo and Côte-d’Ivoire.

CEPEX is seeking to double exports to Sub-Saharan Africa by 2020 where several countries are achieving sustained growth.

During this open day, Tunisian companies and economic operators seeking to go global will explore the various opportunities made available by CEPEX network-accredited markets in Africa, as well as the rules of access of Tunisian companies and products to commercial channels.

The event will be followed by “B2B” meetings on December 19 in Gabes. It will be held in close collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of South-East (CCISE).

These meetings will contribute to facilitate access of Tunisian products to exporting markets and allow exporting companies to have better understanding of these markets.
