Germany granted Tunisia additional funds worth €300 million (around 951.75 million dinars) to finance new development projects in the country.
This was at the 15th Session of the Tunisian-German Government Consultations that ended on Thursday at the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development.
The projects cover the areas of economic development, employment, shipping, administrative reform, governance and the water sector, reads a press release of the Foreign Ministry.
Germany also agreed to convert some of Tunisia’s debts into the funding of other projects that will be discussed at a later stage, the same source added.
