China will build a new University Hospital Center (UHC) in Sfax, with a capacity of 300 beds through a donation of $ 30 million (45 million dinars).
A delegation of Chinese experts is expected in Tunisia later this week to discuss the development plans of the hospital with the Tunisian side.
The announcement was made by Huo Zhengde, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Tunis during an interview with TAP news agency.
He said the hospital is one of the largest development projects achieved by China in Tunisia, reaffirming his country’s support to Tunisia during the transition period.
