Banknotes and coins in circulation continued to increase until the end of 2017 to a record high.
On December 29, 2017, the volume of banknotes and coins in circulation stood at 11.75 billion dinars, the highest level recorded so far.
As expected and as in past years, that volume reached its highest level in the pre-year period.
It should be noted that its level has more than doubled in the last seven years (5.790 billion dinars in 2010).
