Tunisia: CMF sign partnership agreements with Algerian and Lebanese counterparts

Two partnership agreements were signed between the Financial Market Council (CMF) and the Algerian and Lebanese councils on the sidelines of the 14th annual session of the Francophone Institute for Financial Regulation, held recently in Tunis, learns Africanmanager.

Under the agreement, the partners commit to strengthen the protection of investment and to ensure transparency of financial instruments through the establishment of a framework of cooperation to create channels of coordination and exchange of technical information on financial transactions.

The annual session of the Francophone Institute for Financial Regulation saw the participation of 14 foreign countries, including Algeria, Belgium, Canada and Lebanon.
