The number of bookings made until June 8,2015 reached 122 000 while those for cars amounted to 41,000, said Mohamed Abid, central director of passenger transport at the Tunisian Shipping Company (CTN).
In a statement to Africanmanager, he added that a decrease was recorded in bookings due to the delay in their opening.
“Bookings started on March 3 this year while in 2014 it began in January,” he explained.
He has also reported that 43% of passengers benefited of a “Family Tariff” while 18% were granted the “Friendship Tariff” (Early Booking).
