The Director General of Social Security, Nader Ajabi, has said that despite the deficit recorded by the social security funds, they are still able to carry out their duties and provide their services to all beneficiaries of social security.
In a statement to Diwan FM on Thursday, he added that the National Social Security Fund (CNSS) has a deficit of 1,200 million dinars, while the National Retirement and Social Security Fund (CNRPS) has a deficit of 158 million dinars.
On the other hand, the National Sickness Benefit Fund (CNAM) recorded a surplus of around 1,300 million dinars, according to the latest update of its financial statements.
