The consumer price index rose by 3.5% in 2011. This increase is explained by the rise in food prices which were up 3.7% and 9.8% for tobacco, 6.0% for restaurants and hotels.
This one-year period was also marked by rising prices of clothing and footwear 5.7%, housing and electricity consumption 4.4%.
