Crude oil production posted a decline of 89% at the end of August 2016, according to the latest figures released to African Manager.
Still according to the National Energy Observatory, average production was approximately 46,700 barrels / day in the first eight months of 2016 against 51,000 b / d at the end of August 2015.
In terms of primary energy, a slight decrease of 0.1% of resources was recorded, which caused a drop in demand, i.e. -4%.
For natural gas, production decreased by 14% from 6.95 million m3 / d at the end of August 2015 to 5,980,000 m3 / d at the end of August 2016.
