Tunisia: cumulative external debt services increase by 27% (BCT)

Cumulative external debt services increased by 27% at the end of January 2021 to 713 million dinars (MD), compared to the same period last year, according to monetary and financial indicators, published by the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) Thursday.

The BCT also reported a 58% drop in tourism revenues, to no more than 150 MD in the first month of 2021.

As for the accumulated labor income (in cash), they went up slightly by 5% to about 508 MD.

As for net foreign exchange reserves, they stood at 22.6 billion dinars as of February 3, representing 158 days of imports, up 16.5% compared to the same period in 2020 (19.4 billion dinars, or 112 days of imports).
