The Executive Board of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) examined, on May 28, 2014, recent developments in the operations of the foreign exchange market.
It noted a depreciation of the dinar during the current month (-2% vis-à-vis the U.S. dollar and 0.1% against the euro), with the exchange rate reaching on May 26, 1.6317 dinar and 2.2247 dinars, respectively.
However, the exchange rate of the dinar remains slightly appreciated compared with the beginning of 2014.
