Tunisia: EASA grants Tunisair Technics “PART-145” Certificate

The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has granted Tunisair Technics the “PART-145” Certificate, thereby qualifying it to maintain European aircraft and their components.

This comes as the airline’s fleet maintenance monitoring unit has completed nearly 68% of its work program, according to the Ministry of Transport.

According to data presented during a recent working meeting focused on monitoring the airline’s fleet maintenance, attended by Minister of Transport Rachid Amri, the company obtained this authorization following a comprehensive audit process conducted by EASA from September 30 to October 2, 2025.

During the meeting, the steering committee of the Safety Management System presented its work plan aimed at strengthening continuous training and raising awareness in the field of aviation safety.

The goal is to improve the performance of all stakeholders in the sector and enhance the technical methods used.

The Minister of Transport affirmed that the monitoring of aircraft maintenance activities will continue on a regular and ongoing basis, emphasizing that the civil aviation sector is a top priority, particularly when it comes to applying safety standards and adopting effective proactive measures.

According to Amri, this approach ensures alignment with international conventions and strengthens confidence in the national carrier.
