Under the “Spring” program, the European Commission has decided to grant an additional amount of € 55 million under the form of grants already planned for Tunisia, announced Ambassador, Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Tunisia, Laura Baeza, saying a sum of € 65 million will be released before the end of 2013 under budget support.
“From this point of view, we continue in the same process. Indeed, another macro financial assistance of around € 250 million is planned for early next year, but before all that, the International Monetary Fund should analyze its loan program to Tunisia,” Baeza said in a statement to Africanmanager.
