Tunisia: EIB allocates credit line to banks

The European Investment Bank (EIB) will provide the Tunisian banking sector with a credit line and this on the occasion of the visit to be paid by Vice-President Philippe de Fontaine Vive next December to Tunisia, said the European official in Nicosia (Cyprus).

During his next visit, an agreement on funding a project to rehabilitate neighborhoods in Tunisia will be signed, also said Philippe De Fontaine Vive in a meeting he had last weekend with Tunisian Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Riadh Bettaieb.

The European official, whose remarks were reported in a press release of the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation, reiterated the commitment of the EIB to support Tunisia and its willingness to consider the funding of development projects planned by the bank.
