The European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI) has provided financial support to Tunisia worth € 775 million during the period 2007 to 2013 for the implementation of political reforms and socio economic.
A budget of € 25 million was also allocated to the end of 2012 to support the reform of the justice sector.
The ENPI has an overall budget of about € 12 billion, up 32% over the period 2000-2006.
The ENPI provides its partner countries co-financing to the process of strengthening governance and fair social and economic development around different areas: environment, energy, transport, telecommunications, education and training, research and innovation, etc.
For the period 2014-2020, the ENPI would have a budget of € 15.4 billion to improve its actions in all its partner countries (16 countries).
