Speaking to Express FM, CEO of the Tunisian Petroleum Activities Company (ETAP), Mohamed Akrout, said the company is working to develop the “Nawara” natural gas field project through the installation of a gas processing station, a gas extraction unit and a pipeline extending to the city of Gabes.
He added that ETAP has signed an agreement with the African Development Bank (ADB) for a loan of 75 million Tunisian dinars.
Mr. Akrout also recalled that the company had previously mobilized EUR 150 million from the European Investment Bank (EIB).
