Tunisia: exports stagnate … in volume

Tunisia’s external trade recorded a stagnation in volume (constant prices) in exports and increased 10.6% in imports during the first four months of 2012.

This evolution is the result of a 6% increase in prices recorded in exports and 2.6% in imports.

In current values, exchanges reached 8605.5 MTD in exports and 11921.5 MTD in imports in these first four months, posting an increase of 6.0% and 13.4%, respectively, over the same period of 2011.
