DBT, a French group founded in 1990, was selected, following a call for tenders, to make current transformers available to the Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company (STEG).
The order includes 560 three-phase measurement blocks and 4,200 single-phase measurement transformers (CR range), for a total amount of € 1.3 million, reports Boursier.com.
The material must be delivered before the end of this year.
This is the largest contract in the history of the French company and the amount reported is the equivalent of the turnover generated by the transformer sector throughout the 2017/2018 fiscal year.
