Gross domestic product decreased by 6.1% at previous year’s prices in the fourth quarter of 2020, compared to the fourth quarter of 2019.
Compared with the third quarter of this year, GDP decreased by 0.3% (-0.3%).
On this basis, the Tunisian economy recorded during the whole year 2020 an unprecedented contraction of 8.8% compared to the year 2019.
The growth rate of the second quarter has been revised by 0.4 point to -21.3% and the growth rate of the third quarter has been revised by 0.3 point to-5.7%.
