Opportunities relating to renewable energies were the focus of the 7th Tunisian-German meeting on energies held on Wednesday in the northern suburb of Gammarth by the Tunisian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Tunisia).
“The aim of this meeting is to develop new ideas in matters of energy as part of a fruitful bilateral co-operation” said Mrs. Dagmar Ossenbrink, Director General of AHK Tunisia, adding that “the aim is also to participate in setting up enterprises and have Tunisians take advantage of German new technology and know-how.”
Mrs. Dorothea Nold, delegate of the German Ministry of Economy and Technology, affirmed for her part that Tunisia had a large energy potential and can become a renewable energies-exporting country. Germany, she added, is ready to support Tunisia in developing the sector of renewable energy.
