Tunisia is hosting the 27th Extraordinary Session of the International Olive Council (IOC) from Monday, July 11 until July 16, 2016, Agriculture Minister, Saad Seddik told Express FM on Monday.
He said the event takes place in Hammamet, in the presence of 70 delegates from 17 member countries.
The minister added that besides this session an international symposium on the theme “Perspectives on World Olive Growing,” will be held July 13 current.
Furthermore, he stressed that the IOC is currently headed by Tunisian Abdellatif Ghedira. “This position has long been held by current Prime Minister, Habib Essid,” he recalled.
