Exports of the industrial sector have increased by 20.9% at the end of May 2022, according to data from the Agency for the Promotion of Investment and Innovation (APII).
In value, industrial exports went up from 16,836 million dinars at the end of May 2021 to 20,356 million at the end of last May.
The industrial sector imported for TND 24,549 million in the first five months of 2022 against TND 19,226 million in the same period of 2021, recording a growth of 27.7%.
Consequently, the trade balance of the industrial sector is in deficit of 4,192 million dinars, against a deficit of 2,389 million at the end of May 2021.
