Investments on projects costing more than 5 million Tunisian dinars (MTD) posted a decrease of 14.2% from 584.6 MTD during the first three months of 2012 to 501.3 MTD during the first three months of 2013.
The number of projects increased from 38 to 39 during the first three months of 2013, up 2.6%. These projects will create 3,767 jobs positions against 3,810 job positions during the first three months of 2012, down 1.1%.
It should be noted that projects costing 5 MTD which account for only 3.9% of the number of reported projects and 21.8% of the number of jobs, total 57% of the overall reported investments.
