Investments in projects costing more than 5 MD have increased by 34.3% from 864.7 MD in the first seven months of 2016 to 1161.7 MD in the first seven months of 2017.
These projects will allow the creation of 9,068 job positions compared with 6,503 jobs in the first seven months of 2016, up 39.4%., said the Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation.
Projects of 5 MD and more, which represent only 4.8% of the number of projects declared and 26.3% of the number of jobs, account for 54.8% of the total investments reported.
Of the 104 projects (I> 5 MD) reported during the first seven months of 2017, 20 projects totaled an investment amount of 504.3 MD, or 43.4% of the total investment (I> 5 MD).
