Targeted lockdown procedure manual to be published next week

A procedure manual for targeted lockdown with which public and private sector workers must comply during that period that will begin on May 4 will be published next week, Social Affairs Minister Mohamed Habib Kchaou said on Thursday.

Speaking at a press briefing, Kchaou added that this manual will be posted on the website of the Ministry of Social Affairs next week, noting that a general procedure manual as well as special guides have been developed in a personalised way for all sectors and professional activities, based on occupational medicine and safety procedures.

He stressed that a national awareness campaign will be conducted to publicise these manuals designed to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) during the period of targeted lockdown scheduled for May 4, as announced by the Prime Minister.

A number of private companies have recently manufactured face masks suitable for multiple use, in accordance with technical specifications set out by the Ministries of Industry and Health, for mandatory use in preventing the spread of the coronavirus from next May 4.
