Reported investments under creative projects fell from 2,161.8 million Tunisian dinars (MTD during the first eleven months of 2013 to 1,830.2 MTD in the same period of 2014, thus registering a decline of 15.3%.
The number of these projects increased 3.2% from 2,444 in 2013 to 2,522 in 2014, and created jobs fell by 24.1%, from 45,750 to 34,731 during the same period, said the latest figures from the Industry Promotion Agency (API).
Moreover, investments reported under projects other than creation (extension, renewal of equipment…) reached 1,021.7 MTD against 874 MTD in the first eleven months of 2013, up 16.9%.
The number of projects increased by 18.5% from 767 in 2013 to 909 in 2014, and jobs related thereto rose 18.3% to 15,085 against 12,749 job positions during the first eleven months of 2013.
